Pronouns: She/her/hers

Availability: Accepting new clients starting January 2025
Hi, my name is Kaitlyn (she/her), and I’m so glad you’re here. It takes courage and strength to seek counselling, and I’d be honoured to hear your story. As a fellow human and therapist, I aim to create connections that feel genuine and safe, bringing a deep sense of empathy, curiosity, and compassion into our work. Humans are complex and beautifully imperfect, and my priority is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel you can show up as your most authentic, messiest self - tears, laughter, anger, and all. Our work together will be collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. We’ll create a plan that aligns with your concerns, values, and goals, so you leave sessions feeling heard, valued, and understood. I believe that every person has the potential to create positive change in their lives, we just need some support along the way sometimes. Thank you for considering me as a part of your healing and growth, I look forward to the journey ahead together!
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to live, learn, and play across Canada, exploring the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee Peoples in Tkaronto (Toronto), the Coast Salish Peoples in K'emk'emeláy̓ (Vancouver), and now the sacred lands of the Îyârhe Nakoda people of the Rocky Mountain here in Moh'kinstsis (Calgary).

My therapeutic approach is warm, gentle, and centred around you, guided by empathetic curiosity and care. I believe that therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all experience, so I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to best support your individual concerns, needs, and goals. This may include narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, attachment theory, acceptance and commitment therapy, and Gottman’s Method for couples as well. My practice is rooted in non-judgmental, anti-oppressive, and culturally aware principles, recognizing how factors like race, gender, and sexual orientation shape our identities and experiences.
I am passionate about holistic wellness and appreciate the intricate, deeply personal connections between mental, emotional, physical, and sexual health. I understand that therapy can feel intimidating, but I want you to know I am here to meet you where you’re at, and support you every step of the way.
