About My Approach
My approach to therapy is to offer a space where you can feel heard, understood, and validated in exploring your unique journey. I believe in fostering an environment where trust and collaboration guide the process, ensuring the therapeutic relationship serves as a foundation for meaningful change. Together, we will identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and work toward creating a path forward that feels authentic and empowering.
Using a trauma-informed lens, I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and EMDR to provide a holistic and personalized approach. I also integrate mindfulness practices to help connect the mind and body, fostering greater self-awareness and grounding.
Cultural responsiveness and social justice are fundamental to my practice. I strive to create an inclusive environment where diverse identities and experiences are respected and valued. Whether through dialogue, mindfulness techniques, or creative strategies, I aim to support you in your journey toward empowerment and resilience.
